These images all highlight a technique called light painting to give a mysterious flavour to night images. They are all single frames with no significant image manipulation. They all have a person wandering through the frame with their back to the camera, carefully illuminating elements of the image with a flashlight so that they are never revealed to the camera. You will note the stars streaking through the sky for these long exposures. No tracking mounts, just simple tripods, and a standard camera. You can't be afraid of the dark to try these techniques.
Happy Halloween!
