We have a few different telescopes available to loan out of the library. Of course there is the Skyward 150 which we designed and built ten of them. Those are reflector type telescopes, which means the light collection and concentration is done by a mirror. We also have this refractor type of telescope which was not built by us but is still a great and easy to use telescope. It uses large lenses instead of mirrors. It will give incredible views of the moon as well as being able to show good definition on Jupiter and reveal it's largest moons. You can also enjoy Saturn's rings as well as star clusters and other targets.
Here you see J and E having a great time looking at the moon. This scope is mounted on a Vixen Porta which is super easy, has fine adjustment to track objects, and is decently stable.
