We just got three more of these Celestron NexYZ phone to eyepiece adapters for the Blue Door Astro Library. They will allow almost any phone to be mounted to the telescopes.
One thing we notice right away with the first one was that the phone and therefore it's camera were not well aligned with the eyepiece. The issue was partially caused because the phone was quite large and had considerable mass which flexed and tilted the NexYZ adapter.
When we rotated the NexYZ around the eyepiece, effectively turning the phone upside down, the weight of the phone effectively corrected the tilt error.
